Christina Keim, LMHC, NCC, CCMHC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I pursued my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling after years of other pursuits, which included time in the United States Air Force. I feel my vast life experience has added to my counseling abilities. I regularly work with individuals with a wide range of concerns including, but not limited to, grief and loss, relationship issues, parenting issues, challenges in careers, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, and I help clients cope with stressful life situations and transitions. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. In addition to my individual work, I also regularly work with couples and families.
My counseling style is warm and welcoming, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and sensitivity. My approach is generally directive and I do give regular homework to continue the counseling process outside the office. I use an eclectic approach to counseling and utilize several theories in my technique. I feel that each individual is different and there isn't one approach that works for everyone.
I work to empower clients of all ages and walks of life in individual and group settings. I tremendously enjoy working with a diverse clientele. I feel that it takes a tremendous amount of courage to seek help for making change in our lives.
I will be here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!
